Behaviour Issues with our child

Here I am writing about one of our boys. It will be very personally and may not be suitable information for all parents. Please only take on board what you feel will help your family.

We are parents of five boys, all with their own personality. Life in our household is really full on and is never a dull moment.

Lately we have been dealing with our 10 year old and it slowly has become a issue that has gotten out of control.

He is a loving boy, and has such a kind soul. We have started to notice that the last few years his behaviour has become totally out of character, and harder and harder to control.

We have been searching for years for answers for his sudden out of control temper tantrums. We have read every parenting magazine and book that is out there. You name it, we have read it. While each book had lots of down to earth practical advice and information, each book did not seem to cover any chapters on what our daily life is like.

Slowly I have been pulling my out my hair, and seen as my husband does not have any hair to pull out, he has been going around the bend and up the wall!

On our search for answers we have searched high and low for help. We have been to natural therapists, chiropractors, doctors, parenting programs - all with little to no effect with his outcome.

Food has been a huge change in his diet. With little affect to his outburst - as a matter of fact - we have limited his diet to so much that he is down to the basics. Some days we saw huge progress, other days we were back where we started.

So back to more research, more looking. We have brought so many books over the years that we would be rich if we could re-sell them all!! Our final straw was just a few weeks ago, when one day I can remember saying "enough is enough". There must be something out there that can help?

Well someone was listing, somewhere. Because not long after stating "that there must be more information" that we have not yet read, kindness was given to our family. We were given information to a link, for a eBook that could most likely benefit our son and us as a family.

Does it work? Well we are in week one, so time will only tell. What I do know is that this ebook has become a lifeline that we are using for our family and for our son, to help him become the man he deserves to become. It covers basic information that makes sense. Information that we can use, that we can see will work.

What I will be doing in the next few weeks, if it is alright with you and your family, is to share our experiences and trials with our new parenting skills to help become better parents and for our son to become a better man.

Week by week we will be opening up our hearts and sharing with other parents what it is like to have to deal with a child that does not fit into the text book parenting books.
